Overview
The Tourism Commission must direct the use of room tax revenue for tourism promotion and development. It must report annually to the Village Board and will ensure that at least 51% of the revenues be spent on tourism promotion and tourism development.

Members
The Board of Public Works consists of five members, made up of the village president, the village administrator, the parks and recreation director, one member must be an owner or operator of a lodging facility that collects room tax, and one citizen member. The owner/operator of a lodging facility member and the citizen member are appointed annually. All appointments are made by the village president, subject to confirmation of the Village Board, at the annual organizational meeting in April.
