Overview

The Commission is constituted in accordance with state law, including Wis. Stats. § 62.13, but none of the specified optional powers enumerated in Wis. Stats. § 62.13(6) are extended to the commission.

Members

The Police and Fire Commission consists of five members, made up of at large citizen members.  The members have staggered five-year terms.  All appointments are made by the village president, subject to confirmation of the Village Board, at the annual organizational meeting in April.
