There are more than 600 fire hydrants present in Jackson. Fire hydrants are located approximately every 500 feet on most Village of Jackson streets, as well as some that are located in the Town of Jackson. Any Jackson Water Utility residents living near a fire hydrant & willing to "Adopt a Hydrant" and remove snow and ice that surrounds the hydrant during the Winter months, would be much appreciated.
