Overview
The Jackson Fire Department requires that certain alarm and suppression equipment, as well as storage tanks, be inspected and approved prior to being put into service. Currently, the following types of installations require a permit:
- Fire sprinkler systems
- Booth and hood suppression systems
- Fire alarms
- Storage tanks
Located below is the form that needs to be completed to request the permit. Completed forms should be returned to the Jackson Fire Department, along with a check for any applicable permit fees. Please contact Assistant Chief Jim Huyser at (262) 677-3811 with any questions regarding permits.
