The Jackson Police Department restarted their K9 program in the spring of 2024. Officer Michael Trevarthen was selected to be the K9 Handler and was paired up with Delta, a German Shepherd/Malinois mix. Delta was born in Hungary on 8/10/2022 and received his initial training in Hungary prior to being imported to the United States. When not working, Delta loves running around and his tennis ball.
